for my assignment i have chosen to do a datavisualisation of my time travelling, including the time i spent overseas when i was young. this includes:
- a bar graph of the distances away from australia i have been
- a pie chart of the time i have spent on different airlines/continents/music most listened to
- the no. of kilometers i have travelled in an airplane
- the number of historic monuments and places of cultural significance i saw, vs the number of pubs and clubs i went to
- amount of money spent
i also have started mapping out on a road map (highways) of australia where and how far you would need to drive in order to equal the distance to the furthest i travelled away from australia.
i plan to hand this in in hardcopy format, however if a pdf is preferable, then i can scan it. i plan to do some parts of the datav. by hand, as i think it allows me more freedom creativley to express the datav how i want.
